Plan my countertops ↗A REAL PROJECT. USEFUL IDEAS.
For your Everett kitchen, plan the cooking area and the place you eat together. Our local renovation shows white perimeter cabinets, a dark island and a connected dining nook within a larger home remodel.

Everett, WA
Our Everett project combines white perimeter cabinets, a dark island, light countertops and geometric pendant lights. The island adds preparation space and seating. Light flooring and warm lighting continue into the dining nook, connecting the two areas without extending cabinets across every wall.
Start with how people move between the cooking area and the table. More cabinetry is only useful when it preserves the space needed for chairs, circulation and daily meals.

Review cabinet sizes, drawer and pantry needs, door profiles, finish samples and hardware before orders are finalized.

Compare countertop and tile samples together. Discuss the material, edge, seams, backsplash layout and care requirements in your selections.

Coordinate pulls, faucets, pendants and task lighting with cabinet and appliance locations. Review the small transitions as part of the larger design.
Confirm who prepares the layout, selection schedule and any drawings, 3D views, architectural or structural documents your project needs. Design deliverables, professional fees, ordering responsibilities and allowances belong in the written scope.
Explore our design approach ↗DECISIONS BEFORE THE ORDERS
Put the actual table, chairs and stools on the kitchen plan. Review the paths people use while somebody is cooking and while seats are occupied.
Decide which items it stores and where preparation happens. Confirm that adding island storage will not make the route between refrigerator, sink and cooking area awkward.
Mark the floors and adjoining rooms that need protection. Plan where materials can be staged and how the household will pass the work area during installation.

COMPARE THE COMPLETE SCOPE
Compare the complete kitchen scope with any adjoining floor or dining-area work. Repeating finishes between rooms can improve continuity, but the additional areas should be measured and priced explicitly.
GENERAL PLANNING RANGE
$20,000–$50,000Our broad kitchen remodeling guide. Your layout, selections and existing conditions determine the proposal.
HIGH-END RENOVATION
$75,000+Custom cabinetry, premium appliances, luxury finishes and a more involved scope can increase the investment.

PLAN THE DOWNTIME
Identify when the dining nook and refrigerator will be accessible. The Everett portfolio includes a broader home renovation; use a separate kitchen schedule to plan ordering, on-site work and utility interruptions.
Our general start-to-finish planning range is 6–12 weeks. Design, permits, material lead times and structural work can extend it. Confirm ordering, on-site work and periods without a usable sink or cooking equipment separately for your project.
LOCAL PLANNING
Everett organizes permit preparation around the proposed work and relevant residential submittal checklists. Bring the address, existing layout and planned alterations to that review. Identify wall changes and the plumbing, electrical and ventilation work rather than describing only the finished cabinets.
FROM FIRST IDEA TO FINAL DETAIL
We plan the work with you, then coordinate the people and details needed to bring it together.
Share your ideas, what isn’t working, your priorities, and the home we’ll be working in.
Review the layout, materials, and design details. Coordinate specialists and permits where needed.
Agree on the written scope, selections, pricing, and project-specific schedule before construction.
Our team coordinates trades and construction, keeping you informed as the kitchen takes shape.
Review the finished work and final details together, with our 2-Year Workmanship Warranty beyond completion.

DURING CONSTRUCTION
Agree on access, surface protection, dust separation, pets and children, material storage and daily cleanup. Discuss a temporary food-preparation area and how the team will communicate changes.
Read homeowners’ feedback on Google Maps.
QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR PLAN
Yes. The Everett portfolio includes a remodeled kitchen with white cabinetry, a dark island and a dining nook in a 1,490-square-foot home. The project link on this page shows the wider renovation and correctly labeled construction and completed photographs.
Include it when flooring, lighting or cabinet changes affect the connection between the rooms. You can also keep it outside the scope. Mark the boundary on the plan so furniture access and the final finish transitions are understood.
