BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Thinking about your bathroom remodel? Here are a few things we can talk through together.

Ask us your question

What can you include in a bathroom remodel?

Your written scope can include layout planning, demolition, showers or tubs, waterproofing, tile, vanities, countertops, plumbing fixtures, lighting, ventilation, and finish details. We agree on the work and selections before construction.

How much does bathroom remodeling cost?

Room size, tile and fixture choices, plumbing locations, and existing conditions are major cost factors. We assess the room and your priorities before preparing pricing for the agreed scope.

Can you replace a tub with a walk-in shower?

We can review that option with you. The available space, drain location, floor construction, and waterproofing approach help determine what the project involves.

Can you plan a shower with easier access?

Tell us what would make the room more comfortable to use. We can review entry details, fixture placement, and available space, coordinating any needed design review before the scope is finalized.

How long will the bathroom be out of use?

That depends on the scope, inspections, material availability, and construction sequence. We discuss the anticipated disruption and project-specific schedule before work begins.

Do you handle permits and trade coordination?

We coordinate the relevant trades, permit applications, city communication, and inspections for the agreed project responsibilities. Requirements depend on the work and jurisdiction.

Do you help choose tile and fixtures?

Yes. We help connect the layout, vanity, surfaces, fixtures, and lighting so the choices work together and fit the agreed plan.

What workmanship warranty do you offer?

Our construction work is backed by a 2-Year Workmanship Warranty. We review the applicable terms in your project documentation.

Bathroom remodeling: define the room you need

Primary, guest and shared bathrooms

Start with who uses the room and which tasks need to work better. Review vanity storage, surfaces, lighting and the bathing arrangement as one plan rather than separate product purchases.

Tub-to-shower conversions and wet rooms

Compare a fixture conversion with a complete room renovation. Preparation, plumbing, drainage, waterproofing, ventilation, enclosure and finish work can affect the scope. A wet room or steam enclosure requires its own assembly review.

Accessibility and aging-in-place priorities

Discuss entry, circulation, controls, seating and future support around the household. Have applicable standards and professional responsibilities identified for the specific property instead of assuming a single product makes the room compliant.

Bathroom cabinetry and countertops

Coordinate the vanity, sink, faucet, counter and storage with the room’s dimensions. Confirm product specifications, ordering and the interfaces with tile, lighting and plumbing before construction.

Our project was a complete kitchen renovation, as well as new floors, doors, and millwork throughout the entire house. I was dreading the process. I knew we would have to move out of the house with our six-month-old and figured we would be in a constant battle with a contractor over the timeline to get back in. After meeting with a few contractors that seemed less than honest, fortunately for us, we found Oleg & Sons.

Renee

Working with Oleg & Sons in Bellevue was an absolute pleasure. We brought them on as our general contractor and project manager, and they truly went above and beyond. Oleg kept us in the loop throughout the entire process, made sure everything was just right, and quickly took care of any issues that popped up. He even helped us choose products that were perfect for our home and budget. If we ever need more work done, we’ll definitely call them again.

Lana Steiner

We used Oleg & Sons to remodel our kitchen and the main floor of our home after we experienced some water damage. Oleg was great to work with—he was on top of everything, had strong relationships with his subcontractors, and was quick to respond. Andrew, who took the lead on the actual construction, was meticulous, easy to get along with, and highly skilled.
