ONE COORDINATED BUILD

Mukilteo homes. Let
the setting guide you.

Consider the land, the neighborhood and the spaces you will use every day.

FRAMING & FINISHES

A new home should feel related to its particular Mukilteo property. Start by understanding levels, access and the space around the proposed building, then develop the rooms and exterior as one design. A reference plan can open the conversation; the site information and professional review determine how that idea becomes a construction scope.

NEW HOME PLANNING · MUKILTEO

Make the site a
design input, not an afterthought

Resolve grades and the entrance together

Study the route from road or driveway to the front door before choosing floor levels. Where the land changes height, coordinate foundation and access decisions with the appropriate design and engineering professionals.

Check the current land-use picture

Use Mukilteo's Building & Permits and Planning resources to identify the property's applicable review. Confirm any critical-area or other site questions directly before interpreting a preferred building form as feasible.

Protect useful outdoor relationships

Consider windows, privacy and the outdoor areas you want to retain alongside the building footprint. A larger interior plan is not automatically the best use of the property if arrival, circulation and garden space become awkward.

Confirm current requirements with the authority responsible for your parcel. Planning sources reviewed October 2026.

A PLACE TO START

Explore home shapes with
the Mukilteo land in mind

Use these six credited designer previews to compare levels, circulation and building form. For Mukilteo, test the preferred direction against your parcel, utility arrangements and required professional documents before selecting or licensing a plan.

6 home plans to explore

Designer-sourced inspiration, with original previews credited to Home Plans NW / Rueppell Inc. and Design Northwest / DNW Inc. All design rights remain with their creators. These examples are not presented as Oleg & Sons projects or Seattle/Bellevue pre-approved plans. Building dimensions describe the home footprint; lot suitability, design licensing and site-specific requirements are reviewed separately.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Questions for a
thoughtfully placed Mukilteo home

Use these Mukilteo questions to prepare the first conversation. The actual parcel, proposed building and agreed scope determine the design and construction path.

Ask us your question
Who should review a new Mukilteo house concept?

Start with the City's Building & Permits and Planning & Community Development resources. Confirm the address, project description and site conditions so the relevant staff can identify the applicable review and supporting documents.

Can a sloping Mukilteo site use a house from the plan collection?

A sloping-site preview can help explain a design direction, but it is not an engineering solution for your land. Survey, ground conditions, drainage and access need property-specific evaluation before a plan is selected or adapted.

Will a Harbour Pointe property have the same planning questions as the waterfront?

Not necessarily. Study the actual parcel's development records, site conditions and any applicable private restrictions. The city name alone does not establish one set of physical conditions for every new-home proposal.

Should exterior materials be selected before the Mukilteo layout is settled?

Develop them together. Window positions, roof form, entrances and outdoor connections affect both daily living and the exterior. Final selections should be documented with the drawings and written construction scope.

How is the price for a new Mukilteo home established?

The Mukilteo floor-area planner does not calculate a construction price. We review the property, building design and requested work, then identify included construction, site and service work, professional responsibilities, allowances, exclusions, fees and taxes in a written proposal.

What workmanship support follows a Mukilteo new-home project?

Oleg & Sons Bellevue Home Remodeling backs its construction work with a 2-Year Workmanship Warranty. For your Mukilteo project, the agreement and closeout documentation describe the agreed responsibilities, walkthrough and applicable warranty terms.

Waterfront origins and later planned neighborhoods

Mukilteo's waterfront includes the site of the 1855 Point Elliott Treaty, followed by a later history of trade, mills and port activity. The City incorporated in 1947 and grew through annexations, including Harbour Pointe in 1991. That combination of older settlement and planned residential growth makes the individual property important. A new house should respond to its own approach, landform and neighboring buildings.
