FRAMING & FINISHES

An Everett infill build and a house on an undeveloped parcel begin with different questions. Identify the existing improvements, land-use context and site-work requirements before refining the rooms. We help connect the chosen design with professional documents, a written construction scope and the decisions needed to move from property research to a usable new home.

NEW HOME PLANNING · EVERETT

Coordinate the house
and site-work package

Use the current residential checklist

Everett revised its residential submittal guidance in 2026. Begin with the checklist for your proposed building type and confirm the required supporting information with Permit Services, rather than relying on an older saved application.

Draw what happens outside the footprint

Everett calls its former Public Works permits Site Work permits. Bring drainage, connections and work beyond the walls into the document plan so the proposed house and civil work develop together.

Study the surrounding block

For an infill or replacement home, compare entrances, driveway placement, window relationships and construction deliveries with the neighboring buildings. Check whether the parcel has historic or other additional review considerations.

Confirm current requirements with the authority responsible for your parcel. Planning sources reviewed October 2026.

A PLACE TO START

Compare home forms
for your Everett setting

Use these six credited designer previews to compare levels, circulation and building form. For Everett, test the preferred direction against your parcel, utility arrangements and required professional documents before selecting or licensing a plan.

6 home plans to explore

Designer-sourced inspiration, with original previews credited to Home Plans NW / Rueppell Inc. and Design Northwest / DNW Inc. All design rights remain with their creators. These examples are not presented as Oleg & Sons projects or Seattle/Bellevue pre-approved plans. Building dimensions describe the home footprint; lot suitability, design licensing and site-specific requirements are reviewed separately.

THE ROAD TO A NEW HOME

Bring site documents
and construction decisions together

For your Everett property, coordinate the site findings, design information and agreed work before each stage advances. The actual review path and construction sequence are established for the project.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Useful Everett answers
before drawing the house

Use these Everett questions to prepare the first conversation. The actual parcel, proposed building and agreed scope determine the design and construction path.

Ask us your question
Which Everett checklist should guide a new house application?

Start with Permit Services' current Prepare & Apply page and the residential checklist for the proposed project. The City notes updated 2026 guidance; the complete submission depends on the building type and site conditions.

Why does an Everett house need a separate site-work discussion?

The building is only part of the proposal. Drainage, utilities and other work outside its footprint may involve Site Work review and supporting information. Establish those responsibilities alongside the building plans.

Can we discuss replacing an older Everett home?

Yes. Share the existing building records, photographs and the replacement goals. We can discuss demolition, retained services, design coordination and the required review path; an older building's presence does not establish approval for its replacement.

Does an Everett infill home have to use a catalog design?

No. The six designer previews are examples of layouts and building forms. You can bring your own plans or an early brief, with the appropriate professionals developing the documents needed for the actual property.

How is the price for a new Everett home established?

The Everett floor-area planner does not calculate a construction price. We review the property, building design and requested work, then identify included construction, site and service work, professional responsibilities, allowances, exclusions, fees and taxes in a written proposal.

What workmanship support follows a Everett new-home project?

Oleg & Sons Bellevue Home Remodeling backs its construction work with a 2-Year Workmanship Warranty. For your Everett project, the agreement and closeout documentation describe the agreed responsibilities, walkthrough and applicable warranty terms.

An industrial peninsula with enduring neighborhoods

A city was planned on the Port Gardner peninsula in 1891, on land with a much longer Snohomish history. Everett incorporated in 1893, and its mills, railway connections and later aerospace employers supported successive waves of housing. A new residence joins that layered setting. An established block calls for a careful reading of adjacent buildings, street access and the development records for the actual lot.
